Sun Valley Animal Center provides comprehensive animal dental care for dogs and cats. By age three, 80% of dogs and 70% of cats show signs of dental disease. Bad breath, discolored teeth and swollen or bleeding gums are all indications that your pet needs to be examined. Good dental hygiene is important to maintaining your pet’s health. Bad teeth not only cause bad breath, they can lead to periodontal disease. Periodontal disease can be a threat to your pet when bacteria builds up and enters the bloodstream, leading to lung, kidney, liver, or heart problems.
Sun Valley Animal Center provides full-service veterinary dentistry, including dental radiographs, ultrasonic scaling, polish, extractions, and root canals.
The American Veterinary Medical Association recommends an annual dental examination for all pets. To make an appointment for a dental screening, please call Sun Valley Animal Center at 726-7777.
