Pharmacy – Laboratory

The Sun Valley Animal Center stocks a full-service pharmacy so your prescriptions may be filled at the conclusion of your visit. Likewise, the state of the art laboratory provides timely test results many of which are given to you while you and your pet are present.

ICU Unit

The SVAC Intensive Care Unit is a state of the art chamber which provides the ideal environment for patients to receive the very best opportunity for recovery following surgery and other procedures. The glass-enclosed unit is situated in the Treatment Room so patients are closely and continually monitored at all times.

Transfusions

The process of collecting and transfusing blood is very similar in veterinary and human medicine. Blood is species specific — dogs can receive only dog blood and cats can receive only cat blood. Transfusion medicine is practiced at the Sun Valley Animal Center.
